Art Direction

For the past 5 years I have been consulting with a range of companies to boost their brand communication strategy. Working extremely closely with my clients we have been able to improve media visibility, gain access to new markets and boost e-commerce sales. With more than 20 years of media insights into PR, editorial content and visual story-telling I am able to form cost-effective concepts that work hard across all channels. Taking a clear brief from marketing managers I am able to develop a creative concept, produce the content and write the campaign copy ready for launch. I work with some of the best freelance creatives on the market to complete the package.


Production

My in-depth knowledge of the entire production process informs my approach to art direction. By balancing the roles of budget, talent and timing we are able to develop a complete concept with a strong focus on ROI. I have always enjoyed working as creatively as possible within a framework, placing the products front and centre of the storyline. As a hands-on creative I am more than happy finding solutions to any number of complications throughout the production calling on more than 10 years experience in the process. Keeping the teams compact and highly effective shortens the lines of communication and ensures efficiency. Alongside photography I have helped to produce PR events and design exhibitions.


Copywriting

I work with several clients as a creative copywriter, responsible for seasonal campaigns, product manifestos, trans-creation and proofreading. I have experience writing for e-commerce, SEO and SEM campaigns and social media. I studied UX writing at Berghs in 2022 where we looked in depth at how writing is designing. As a native English speaker I understand the tiny differences in tone and voice that can influence a brand’s authenticity. I have written editorial content for magazines that accompany my photography.
